Customer Reviews
trey hough08/06/2023 I’m a real estate agent here in Tallahassee and recently had a customer purchasing a home with an older roof. We had a home inspection completed using an inspector on the recommendation of the customers friend, and the inspection stated the roof had five years left, and was insurable. Luckily, we had 1st Choice Pest Services complete the Wood Destroying Organisms (WDO) inspection where they look for wood rot, termites, etc. during this inspection, Brian, with 1st Choice Pest Services was able to identify at least 7 to 8 leaks in the roof that had gone missed by the home inspector. Thanks to 1st Choice Pest Services‘a inspection we were able to negotiate a new roof for the first time home buyers and save them a huge headache down the road. Ana Cecilia Balarezo Mesones22/08/2022 I would highly recommend 1st choice pest control for any pest control treatments, and Jackson as the best technician! He’s always on time, and every time that he comes to my house he is very professional, courteous and thorough. He answers all my questions explaining everything to me, and he is willing to give me suggestions. He has been the best pest control service agent that I have experienced since I have pest problems. MaryAnne Lashier13/05/2022 I had a WDO home inspection. Brian was great! He did a thorough inspection. During the inspection he spent time to explain things, shared a lot of information, and answered my questions in easy to understand terms. I received the report the same day. I would definitely recommend Brian and 1st Choice if you need inspections. Jessica Webb06/01/2022 Very nice, had a WDO done for my house, had the report by the end of the day. At 1st Choice Pest Services, we design our programs around the different pest pressures we see throughout the year. We tailor our programs to prevent future insect infestations through regular treatments. We offer multiple treatment plan options for your home. Our most popular program is our quarterly pest elimination program, and we also offer annual inspection & warranty programs for termites, beetles, and fungi.
In most cases, termites are not as obvious as roaches or ants in the home. Termites stay hidden and are mainly only seen by owners during reproduction (swarm season). This is why we perform annual inspections and treatments to prevent termites before they enter your home.
The initial pest control service usually takes about 1-2 hours for most homes, though it can vary depending on the size of the home and any specific pest issues we observe. During this visit, we thoroughly treat both the interior and exterior. Following this initial service, we generally perform regular exterior perimeter treatments to keep insects out of the home.
If a treatment doesn’t work as expected, 1st Choice Pest Services offers follow-up services to address the issue. We typically provide a guarantee period, during which we will re-evaluate and, if necessary, re-treat the problem area at no additional charge. We will assess potential factors that may have impacted effectiveness, such as environmental conditions or pest resistance, and adjust our approach to ensure effective, lasting results. Your satisfaction and peace of mind are top priorities, so we work closely with you to fully resolve any issues.
